BIOGRAPHY

Since 2014 Thomas Ude has been the Legal and Public Policy Director at the Mazzoni Center working to fulfill its mission:

“To provide quality comprehensive health and wellness services in an LGBTQ-focused environment, while preserving the dignity and improving the quality of life of the individuals we serve.”

He is an advocate for the rights of LGBT people and people living with HIV in employment, recognition of same-sex relationships and parent-child relationships, and in their interactions with government officials.

Ude has a wealth of experience in the public, private and non-profit sectors. This includes seven years working for another LGBT civil rights group, Lambda Legal, as their Senior Staff Attorney and then as Counsel.
