BIOGRAPHY

Sheryl Axelrod, founder of The Axelrod Firm, provides for-profit and non-profit businesses with appellate, commercial, general liability, and employment services. Her skills as a trial lawyer has gained her membership into the prestigious Litigation Counsel of America. Her employment defense work has earned her American Lawyer Media's Top Rated Lawyer in Labor & Defense. 

Due to her strong writing skills, Axelrod has won many cases solely on her written submissions, without going to trial. Two of her briefs have been published and she was asked by the Superior Court of Pennsylvania to explain the appellate practice to the public on a PCN television program "Pennsylvania Appellate Practice."

Axelrod is a strong advocate for diversity, inclusion, and equality. She is a published author and speaker on diversity. She has also served in many positions that promote gender equality, such as:

Axelrod served as the President of the Temple University School of Law Alumni Association and serves as a court-appointed judge Pro Tempore in the Commerce Program. She also is on the Investigative Division of the Commission on Judicial Selection and Retention, investigating those seeking to be members of the judiciary.
