Avery Smith, partner at King Spry, focuses her practice on trusts and estate matters. She specializes in drafting estate planning documents including Wills, Power of Attorney, health care directives, revocable and irrevocable life insurance trusts (ILITs) and special needs trusts.
In addition, she writes prenumptial and postnuptial agreements, estate planning in the event of separation or divorce, and asset division and distribution upon divorce. She handles estate administration for estates of all sizes, from inventorying assets, management of estate assets and debts, distribution to beneficiaries, and preparation of inheritance tax and fiduciary income tax returns.
