BIOGRAPHY

Angela Giampolo, a young entrepreneur, started her boutique international law firm, the Giampolo Law Group, in 2008 serving clients in corporate law, real estate, international law (Asia and Africa), civil rights, LGBT law and estate planning.  She is founding owner of Philadelphia’s LGBT law blog and resource directory phillygaylawyer.com.

Angela frequently presents at the National Business Institute, and writes columns for Philadelphia Business Journal, The Philadelphia Gay News, Echelon Magazine and Edge Media.  She sits on the board for many non-profits, such as Victory Fund, Equality Forum, International Visitors Council and is President of the Gay and Lesbian Lawyers of Philadelphia (GALLOP).

“Every decision you make in your business is a ‘vision decision’ — the work is staying clear on your vision. If you do that, the rest falls into place.”

Before starting her law firm, she worked government positions including Office of General Counsel in Harrisburg and the United Nations at the International Tribunal for Rwanda prosecuting those responsible for the Rwandan Genocide of 1994.  Philadelphia Business Journal recently named Angela “40 under 40.”
