Alan Polonsky started his career with the Social Security Administration as Staff Attorney from 1977 to 1987. After learning the ins-and-outs of the process from the governments's standpoint, he then used that knowledge and experience to help individuals win disability claims and benefits. He is universally recognized as an authority in New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania for his work in SSDI/SSI.
Polonsky serves on the Board of Directors for the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives. He is often featured on the Institute for Continuing Legal Education programs (ICLE) and training other lawyers in Social Security Disability matters. He shares a legal practice with his wife and law partner, Rita Polonsky who concentrates on Family Law matters.
