BIOGRAPHY

Claire Finkelstein is the Algernon Biddle Professor of Law and Professor of Philosophy at the University of Pennsylvania Law School. She is also Director of Penn Law's Center for Ethics and the Rule of Law.

Finkelstein writes about morals and political philosophy as it pertains to the law. She is published in moral and political philosophy as applied to legal questions, criminal law theory, jurisprudence, and rational choice theory. She is the editor (with Jens Ohlin and Andrew Altman) of Targeted Killings: Law & Mortality in an Asymmetrical World , Cyber War: Law & Ethics for Virtual Conflictsand her latest writing project is a book entitled Contractarian Legal Theory which is currently in the finishing touches.
